We have Ignition ? what no dizzy you say
( well its there but nothing connected to it )

EXCUSE THE MESSY WIRING. As now that its working Im making a coil rail to mount
6 of these
 |
These are what are called COPS or Coil on Plugs they connect directly
to the spark plug ( no leads )
I got 6 of these brand new to suit BA I6 ford engines. Mine don't have
the mounting hole like the pic
I thinkn the coil in the pic is from a V8 I could of got them but they
cost alot more.
So one they are setup I will hide the ignition module under the dash and
it will look trick !
I will put up the exact part number for those interested when i get a
chance, I you need to know b4 hand email me
my email address is at the bottom of my site.

The above setup uses the following.
I ignition module from USA V6 chev or AU Jackaroo v6 ( 6VD1 engine )
Apparently from USA Chevy Buick Olds Pontiac Isuzu 1987-2005
and 1988-1997 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme after a quick google search
ITS NOT A V6 COMMODORE MODULE. I could of used one but the crank trigger is
more complicated to wire up. the 3 bolt on coils are the same as series2 vn
and up coilpacks.
The molule part number is AC DELCO D1998A DIS module. you can get them on ebay.com
( not normally found on ebay.com.au ) for about $60 including freight to AU
I got 3 when when I ordered for about $180 AU in total including freights when
I ordered them. I have blown one up already ( correcty power back to front )
must of been drunk at the time.
Here is a link to a search ebay for D1998A..
Geee Im nice
Here is what the module looks like..

The commodore module below that wont work in my setup is shown below ( note
the large flat connector at one end only.. )

read this link for lots of info on how to make a trigger wheel link
I will posts pics of my trigger wheel when im next on the puter :)
Here is a link from MoparMarket
where I did a write up on how I made the trigger wheel. also some other dude
has done it aswell.
Perkins Fluid damper and hub. not to scale
Top Left hub and fan belt pully
Top Right on engine
Bottom just the Damper ahowing size against stuff on table
Why am I showing this well this is where the crank trigger comes from.
I modified the pulley ( didn't wantto modify the damper as it was $600

The EFI Computer / ECM
Computer is the common Delco 1227808 or 808 for short
unit found in the VN/VP commodore / Lexon. Also found in the JD
Camira
After Years of research mainly at DIY-EFI
website I decided to purchase Kalmaker
wiring loom is from a Camira it also had a nice fuse/relay box that
I used It was cheeper then crumble door looms.
